International Professional Certification Program In Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (IPSCM)
The Modular System (MLS) on International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (IPSCM) is a joint collaboration in international Certification Program with International Trade Center (ITC-UNTAC/WTO) and ELI. ITC is the focal point institution in the UN system providing technical cooperation to developing countries and economies in transition in the area of international trade promotion and development.
IPSCM is a practical, continuously updated and supported training pack that can help you to make effective international purchasing and supply chain management become a key factor for your company’s competitiveness and success.
This program uses an interactive and participative approach to support group training as well as individually based open learning. Each Module comprises a participant’s Course book & Workbook as well as a Trainer’s Answer book & set of presentation slides. IPSCM program is regularly updated and is also complemented by additional materials and training tools, including cases, exercises, business games and simulations. This full set of materials is intended to make it easy to deliver training that is practical, impacting, and enjoyable. Training will be conducted in Bahasa.

The purpose of these courses are to inspire and enrich business perspectives. The assortment of subjects offered includes hard skill and soft skill to develop the competencies and skills of participants to become reliable resources in achieving company’s targets. And the hard skills include the topics of Managing Customer, Managing Process, Managing Financial, and Strategy & Innovation.
Interpersonal Skill, Leadership, Managing People, Managing Customer, Managing Process, and Managing Financial are the courses intended to help participants in grabbing functional knowledge and skills to apply in their workplace.
The main goal of Strategy and Innovation courses is to equip middle and top managers the important knowledge and skills to develop strategic thinking framework. Abilities to analyze and develop business strategies, identify and measure company’s performance, and manage changes are crucial in ensuring the competitive advantages and growth of the company.
ELI also organizes many activities aside the annual public programs as well as the customized programs. These activities include seminars, talk shows, business games, discussion forums, scholarships, competitions, and others which held at the campus and other places.
The Upcoming Special Event will be "Driving Success for 2nd Generation in Family Business" on 10-12 July 2017 at Cilandak Campus.
Survey shows that 70% of family firms fail or sell before leadership responsibilities switch to the second generation. On the other hand, based on PricewaerhouseCooper (PwC) research in 2014, 95% of companies in Indonesia are familiy companies with a total net worth of US$ 134 Billion or 29% of total GDP of Indonesia.
Most of the first generation who usually are business owners, are eager to pass on their business to their family or their children. In some families, succession plans run quite smoothly. However many of them also experience obstacles. The first generation feels the unpreparedness of the second generation, while the second generation feels that the first generation is not fully willing to run the process of succession.
Referring to this condition, it becomes important for the second generation to be the first successor of the owners of the family enterprise, to equip themselves as early as possible in preparation for the best succession process within the company. Through this 3-day workshop, participants are expected to develop their soft competency (leadership) as the successor cadre in the company.
